Helsingin kaupungin asunnot Oy (Heka) kilpailuttaa konsultit kuntotutkimuksien ja -arvioiden laadintaan. Kohteet, joihin tutkimuksia tilataan, ovat yleensä peruskorjausiässä. Kuntotutkimukset ja -arviot tilataan pääsääntöisesti erilaisten rakennusten korjaushankkeiden suunnittelun lähtötiedoiksi. Lisäksi Heka voi tilata tehtyjen tutkimusten täydennystutkimuksia.
