Der P8 in Lampoldshausen ist eine Testanlage für die Forschung an Hochdruckverbrennung in Raketentriebwerken, sowie der dazu benötigten Turbopumpenerprobung. Dazu wird die spezielle designte Testzelle P8.3 benutzt. Am P8.3 existieren Fahrleitungen für niedrige/mittlere Massenströme und es werden welche für hohe Massenströme benötigt.
