Das LIB betreibt am Standort Bonn derzeit drei µ-Computer-Tomographen. Das LIB scannt verschiedenste organische Proben, hauptsächlich Tiere, die teilweise gefärbt, in Flüssigkeiten, luftgetrocknet oder anderweitig fixiert sind.
