Der Magistrat der Stadt Bensheim betreibt bereits eine auf VMware Cloud Foundation basierende Virtualisierungsinfrastruktur. Im Jahr 2023 wurden hierfür die entsprechenden VMware-Lizenzen sowie die zugehörige Dell VxRail P675F Hardware beschafft. Im Dezember 2026 endet die derzeitige Lizenzlaufzeit. Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung ist daher die Verlängerung der VMware Cloud Foundation-Lizenzierung
