De stad Leuven werkt aan de restauratie en herbestemming van haar historische stadhuis. Naast de blijvende politieke en ceremoniële functies wordt het gebouw vanaf de heropening in 2029 ook een volwaardige publieksplek waar erfgoed, ontmoeting, kennisdeling en maatschappelijke dialoog samenkomen.
