Es wird ein neues Betonschalthaus (BSH) errichtet, von dem aus alle ITK-Endgeräte und die ITK-Infrastruktur neu verkabelt werden. Die vorhandenen Technikschränke werden durch neue ersetzt, außer dem ZAS-S-Bahn-Schrank, der in das neue BSH umgesetzt wird. Aufgrund der veralteten Bestandsanlagen wird die Kameratechnik auf IP-Systeme umgestellt und der Rückbau der Altanlagen geplant.
