Der Kreis Ahrweiler beabsichtigt, das Gewässerbett der Ahr im Stadtgebiet Bad Neuenahr - Ahrweiler im Zuge einer Gewässerwiederherstellung partiell aufzuweiten sowie ökologisch aufzuwerten.
