Das Klinikum Solingen plant, im Westen der Liegenschaft ein neues Bettenhaus mit einer neuen Küche zu errichten. Um den Neubau funktionsgerecht an den Bestand Haus E und Haus F anzubinden, wird das vorhandene Haus G zurückgebaut und Sicherungsmaßnahmen am Bestand umgesetzt (z.B. Fundamente, Fassade etc.). Der Neubau des Bettenhauses ist als winkelförmiges orthogonales Gebäude mit 7 Obergeschossen
